AI-native BPM · Process + governance

AI runs the process.
Governance decides the gates.

Traditional BPM is people drawing flowcharts and routing every approval by hand. AI-native BPM inverts it: specialist agents execute the process end to end, and a governance layer decides — per step, by blast radius and reversibility — which gates still need a human. For regulated and fintech operations, that means the AI clears the volume while governance keeps the audit trail and the human sign-off exactly where it legally matters. Advisory first; a tier earns autonomy only after it's calibrated.

How it works

Traditional BPM, inverted.

01

The process runs itself

Agents execute the flow end to end — 25 vendored vertical processes, normalized to a single schema. You don't hand-draw BPMN diagrams; the process is generated and run.

02

Governance decides the gates

A gate resolver scores every step by blast radius × reversibility. The SAFE default parks anything irreversible for a human — nothing high-stakes auto-clears unless a tier has explicitly earned it.

03

AI clears the volume

Low-risk, reversible steps resolve automatically; humans only touch what legally or operationally matters. Throughput goes up without giving up control of the decisions that count.

04

Compliance is the byproduct

Every gate decision is logged with an audit hash. EU AI Act, DORA, MiCA and PSD2 evidence is emitted as the process runs — not reconstructed in a separate project later.

05

Advisory before enforce

The human flow never changes until a tier is calibrated. Ship in advisory mode (recommendations only), then graduate a tier to enforce once it's earned autonomy.

06

Built on a real engine

A LangGraph state machine, 28+ specialist agents, and gate-judge panels (35 reviewers + a meta_critic scorer) that can only tighten a verdict approve→park. Deterministic. Auditable. No black box.

— FAQ

Questions we hear often.

What is AI-native BPM?

Business process management where AI agents execute the process end to end, and a governance layer decides which steps still require a human — scored by blast radius and reversibility. The opposite of traditional BPM, where people model the flow and approve each step by hand.

How is this different from traditional BPM suites?

Traditional BPM gives you a modeller to draw flows and a routing engine for human approvals — you build and operate the process. AI-native BPM runs the process for you with agents and reduces human involvement to the gates that genuinely need it, with the compliance evidence generated automatically.

Does the AI just auto-approve everything?

No. The default is SAFE: any irreversible or high-blast-radius step parks for a human, always, unless that tier has been explicitly calibrated and allowed. AI clears the reversible, low-risk volume; governance decides where a person is still required.

How does it stay auditable and compliant?

Every gate decision is recorded with its tier, resolver, confidence and an audit hash, and the run is deterministic — re-run it and an auditor gets the same result. EU AI Act, DORA, MiCA and PSD2 evidence is emitted as the process executes.

Is the AI ever in control of money or irreversible actions?

Not by default. Irreversible actions are governed: they park for human sign-off unless a tier has earned autonomy through calibration. The principle is 'AI clears the volume, governance decides when a human is still required'.
